Art the Clown will wreak havoc on the unsuspecting residents of Miles County as they peacefully fall asleep on Christmas Eve

Director Damien Leone said that several major studios had shown interest in financing this film due to the unexpected success of Terrifier 2 (2022), even without a full script, but he turned all of them down because he is sure they would never let him shoot the opening scene, which he calls “very controversial,” on his own. Leone noted that the only reason he can be so uncompromising in depicting horror and gore is because he finances his films independently, creates all of the special effects himself to keep costs down, and doesn’t have a major studio breathing down his neck to make the film more mainstream.

There is an uncut version of the film that is 2 hours and 25 minutes long and contains 5 additional scenes

Mia mentions that the 5th anniversary of the original massacre is coming up soon, but it took place on Halloween, and for this film to be set on Christmas five years later would mean that the anniversary just passed 2 months ago. I was so excited to watch this, and I must say, my expectations were met and exceeded

I loved that movie, and for me, this was another great piece of bloodthirsty entertainment. The story may not be as tightly written as one would have hoped, it does feel a little more random, but they definitely upped the GTR factor.

If you were the lady in the Odeon Cardiff who fainted I felt so sorry for you, that scene about ten minutes in was clearly too much, it got even worse I’m not sure I expected it to be quite as humorous as it was but it was really good fun, there were several laugh out loud moments and plenty of scenes that made you close your eyes, it was in great shape, and the whole Santa Claus twist worked brilliantly, he really has become the villain of the big screen.
